Throughout the Gospels, we see the Lord Jesus publicly ministering to the multitudes. On several occasions, there were hundreds and even thousands who came to hear Him speak the Word of God; but seemingly His most profitable ministry was with individuals. Many times Christ would ignore the multitude in order to reach out to one person. As a matter of fact, the Gospels record thirty-five incidences of Jesus ministering to individuals. Whether it was Zacchaeus or Nicodemus, one by one He made a difference in the lives of people.

In keeping with Christ’s pattern of ministering to individuals, we at Chichester Baptist Church would like to extend a warm invitation to you, as an individual for whom Christ died, to worship the Lord together with us this Sunday Morning.

Chichester Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church (IBC). As an Aston Baptist church, it is about the friendliest church in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania. The Baptist Independent church strongly adheres to the King James Version (KJV), as we believe the King James Bible (KJB) is the most reliable translation of God's Holy Word. This Upper Chichester Church has conservative music, and Bible Preaching, from the Word of God - strongly sharing the Gospel way of salvation. Located among the churches of Delaware County, near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Chichester Baptist Church is located in Upper Chichester, or Aston, on Cherry Tree Road, and is a short drive from Ogden, Boothwyn, Philadelphia, Eddystone, Springfield, Media, Chester, West Chester, and Twin Oaks, Pennsylvania. We even have a few people driving in from Claymont, Delaware. The church staff are baptists by conviction. Pastor Winters (Dr. Joel D. Winters) and Mrs. Winters (Iree Winters), have served on the church staff for many years. Chichester Baptist Church supports missionaries sent from the World Baptist Fellowship. BIMI, Baptist World Missions, and Macedonia World Missions, along with several other missions agencies. We support many Christian publications, including the Sword of the Lord, the Baptist Vision, and Revival Fires. We have (or have had) students from our church attend Crown College of the Bible (Dr. Clarence Sexton), Liberty University, and Arlington Baptist College In the community, we strive to have a close relationship with the other Baptist Churches in town, including First Baptist Church, Marcus Hook Baptist Church, and Calvary Independent Baptist Church. While not associated with GARB, we are a fundamentalist, regular baptist church. As a fundamental church, we seek to glorify God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and provide opportunities for fellowship among our members. Like many of the churches Delaware County, many of our members enjoy listening to WKDN radio. Our pastors have attended meetings of the Baptist Friends in Powell, Tennessee.
